My first thought is that the game’s story is about a guy who’s just gotten himself into a bunch of trouble. So I think that there is a bit of a flaw in the story. The character development is done using a lot of characters, and I think that’s a good thing. It’s not like the whole story is about a guy with super powers that’s trying to kill you. You know what I mean.

Alex is a kid who was born on a space station whose spaceship disappeared and he was brought to a new time loop to save his sister. Alex is basically a space-traveling time-hopper who got born on Earth. He’s the hero of the story.

I believe this is a good thing in my opinion. I am aware that we are getting to know Alex quite a bit but he doesn’t seem to be the focal character. He is more like a “savior” for his sister, and they become very close as the story goes along.

Alex is the only main character in Deathloop. Unlike the other heroes, he doesn’t have superpowers and his goal is to save his sister. He’s not a hero in the traditional sense. He is a “time traveler” who has a lot of time to find his sister and fix his life as he sees fit.
